Hi – I’m Anna and I am a 3rd year cyber-security student that’s taken an unusual path through cyber-security. I am a Virginia native and I have grown up with computers my whole life. My father first introduced me to computers at the age of 0, while my head napped on a mouse pad. I have always had a love of computers and tech because of him, and he has helped me to further my opportunities today. Growing up I worked with various beginner level coding projects and would find great interest in the “inspect” feature on Google. Now I’ve grown up a bit and work with some more advanced projects, but with the same sense of child-like curiosity. Some skills I’ve picked up in my various schooling have been work with Linux, Ubuntu, Python, Java, Git, PiCharm, Arduino, and RaspberryPi, among other various tech projects.
This blog is meant to document my journey through cyber-security as I grow a deeper understanding and passion for the work I do. I will document projects and project updates under the “Project” page, as well as publish personal and university related writings under the “Writings” tag. Feel free to let me know what you think about the blog under the “Contact” page.
